Edinburgh Castle Hogmany Fireworks was the subject for a private commission for
a couple from Indianapolis USA who were coming to Edinburgh in Scotland to get married at hogmany.
John was commissioned to paint this large acrylic painting together with a series of
limited edition prints, one for each guest to mark this Special Occasion.
Unfortunately, although John had to complete the painting before the event the weather was so bad that gales and storms prevailed over Scotland and the fireworks display was cancelled.
