The
Date Palm has proved to be quite hardy in our scottish garden over the
last four years, but maybe our recent milder winters have helped. Garden
fleece has been used to give it a bit of protection during any frosty
periods.
It makes an excellent exotic specimen plant in our bed of summer garden
geraniums.
