Drifting
Snow in Glenshee was part of the winter 2008 snow scenes project.
John had waited all winter for the snow to arrive but global warming kept
any severe winter weather well away from his Dundee locality.
However the higher mountains had a fair share of snow and all the Scottish
ski runs were having a good year so John decided the only way to find
snow covered winter landscapes was to travel to the highlands up in Glenshee.
Thus
a series of snow scenes around the Spittal of Glenshee was created and
are now on exhibition just north of glenshee in the Braemar Gallery.
