A
Dundee print by artist John Stoa, taken from a watercolour
painting, a sunset picture
of Broughty Ferry looking west towards Dundee, published as
limited edtion prints.
In the foreground is the Ship Inn and the lifeboat shed along the
shoreline of the River Tay, and
in the distance the Lawhill, Balgay hill and the Tay Bridge.
John
has numerous prints of Dundee, once famous for jute, jam and journalism,
but now moved
into the 21st. century with more emphasis on university education,
the arts, science and technology.
His latest image, an acrylic painting on a stretched box canvas, can
be seen on this link
to Sunset on the River Tay.
