The
flowering cherry,
Prunus Amanogawa is ideal for small gardens as it does
not grow very large.
It has a columnar habit, and in late April provides
a wonderful show of pink scented flowers.
John
would not be without his trees growing in a natural
environment in his landscape paintings of Scotland seen
on this link to landscape
pictures.
Older
paintings that have been on the website or may have
sold can still be viewed in the link to the landscape
archive pages.
