Landscape paintings celebrating the seasons around Scotland, are shown in this contemporary art gallery with views of Falls of Dochart, Loch Voil and Loch Lubnaig in the Trossachs in Perthshire, Poppy Fields near Edinburgh, Glencoe and Loch Harport and Loch Sligachan on the Isle of Skye, and John's home town around Dundee.
John uses oils, acrylic, and watercolour, and strong colour tones to create drama in his Scottish landscape paintings of Shinafoot in Auchterarder, and the dramatic image of a contemporary Forfar Loch.
John's acrylic paintings of the River Tay from Broughty Ferry near Dundee completes the set.

A recent project of watercolour paintings from an early summer trip during the Islay whisky festival to the Inner Hebrides can be seen on the page of Islay and Jura.
