Cancer Research Exhibition in Dundee exhibited this original art oil painting showing the narrow country lane running through the village of Benvie just west of Dundee. The old farm cottages appeared previously in a famous romantic painting by Dundee artist James McIntosh Patrick.
It is depicted by John using bold colour and sunlit passages to create a surreal effect.
