Leptospermum
red damask known also as the New Zealand tea tree is a fairly recent newcomer
to Scottish gardens.
My specimen is only three years old so it is just beginning to make a
noticable red flowering plant. I have it growing next to a drift of Lavender
where the grey green foliage of one plant compliments the other.
