The patio garden in winter stand out as the sun lights up the freshly fallen snow, one bright morning in February. Snowfall in Dundee has been limited in recent years as the climate warms up, so when the snow falls, it is a great inspiration for John to paint his favourite subject of Scottish snow scenes showing the Angus countryside and scenes around Dundee.
