Pinus
strobus nana is a smaller variation of the larger growing
Weymouth Pine or White Pine.
This has conical growth at first but later forms a bushy
top.
The colour is a very attractive pale pastel green and
the "nana" form will not grow too large making
it perfect for the small garden.
My
tree is about six years old but planted three years
ago amongst a variety of Japanese maples including the
very attractive bright red stemmed Acer
palmatum Sangokaku.
