I work mainly from photos.

portraits, eg. bichon frises and cats, even budgies,
figurative art, special events, whisky distilleries (Edradour
distillery), factories, offices, pubs, restaurants vehicles
and paintings of people's homes and gardens are examples
of previously commissioned paintings.
One of the most popular requests for a painting is Edinburgh
Castle seen on John's page of limited edition prints.
Some images have then been used as postcards, Christmas cards
and limited edition prints for corporate use.

The cost of any painting varies according to size, medium
and complexity of subject matter and if travelling is required
where photographs can't be used, or need to be taken on site.
The following is a basic guide when travelling is relatively
local, based on an unframed painting, ex-studio.
Delivery costs vary according to location of country.
